Dreame A2 Camera Not Working – Many Users With Same Problem?
Hi everyone,
I recently bought a new Dreame Roboticmower A2, but I am having serious issues with the camera system.
Problem:
- Pressing the camera/live view button only shows a short “Loading” popup before instantly closing
- The camera/live view never opens
- The mower has also started driving directly into objects as if it cannot properly see obstacles anymore
What I have already tried:
- Factory reset
- Reinstalling the app
- Removing and re-adding the mower
- Full power-off reboot
- Wi-Fi reconnect
- Permission checks
- Daylight testing
Interestingly, the mower briefly worked for a short period and even sent me a few detection pictures before stopping again completely.
I can now see many other A2 owners reporting the exact same issue online and in Facebook groups.
Questions:
- Is this a known issue?
- Is Dreame currently working on a software/firmware fix?
- Or are users receiving hardware replacements?
Would appreciate feedback from both users and Dreame support.
